First winter in L7

The Lodge welcomed its first guests in mid December after the completion of some minor renovations. Throughout this first month the guests have really enjoyed their stay. Food is at the heart of our concept and the menus were created with Jyrki Tsutsunen, a chef who does his job with a big heart and good taste. The theme and tastes of the menus come from the Lappish nature and forest which surrounds us. Every evening the menu consists of four courses, each one surprising you in its own way, finishing of your day with style. Whether it is the snow covered trees and complete silence that envelops you as you trek through on snowshoes or a sporty snowmobile ride followed by a lunch by the fire prepared by our guides, the days are filled with amazing experiences in the Lappish wilderness that is right on our doorstep. Your holiday will feel like a fairytale. We have prepared a scenic snowshoe route from the Lodge through the forest, which you can walk on your own, to a rustic lumberjack cafe.

At L7 you will be able to take a step back from busy day to day life and truly relax. The sauna and outdoor jacuzzi are warm and inviting after a day outside in the cold Lappish air. Not forgetting the big lounge with a roaring fire where you can relax with a book and a drink and enjoy the stunning views across the lake towards the fell.
